Work continues apace at our Water Street project in Manchester. Booth King is working alongside award winning architects Hodder & Partners on this exciting project which is located in a prominent position on Regent Road – the northern gateway to Manchester city centre.
The prominent nature of the site, demanded a high quality landmark design solution for a residential and commercial scheme. It comprises 307 apartments including six townhouses and 326 sqm commercial space fronting Regent Road.
The design consists of four main elements. The 28 storey tower acts as a beacon at the gateway with the massing stepping down over three blocks on the corner of Regent Road and Water Street.
A mixture of one, two and three bed apartments as well as two bedroom duplex apartments are accommodated in the tower with the addition of six townhouses accessing Water Street.
The layout of the building elements on the site forms a landscaped courtyard facing towards the River Irwell to the Western boundary of the site.
The cranes are now up and work is progressing, the project is due to complete in Spring 2016. For further details visit: Click Here
