This week as part of our commitment to bringing new engineers into the industry, welcomed work experience student Jamie Foggitt.
Jamie is a student at Darrick Wood School sixth-form (year 13) in Bromley in Kent. he approached Booth King back in 2015 hoping for the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at our practice.
He is currently studying Physics, Geography and Design Technology (Product Design) at A-Level and is in the process of deciding which course at university to pursue. Having studied D.T since Year 8, he has developed his interests in all aspects of the subject and is considering architectural and engineering-based courses.
Jamie is currently spending time with us to get to grips with the type of work we do here. He feels that this will not only give him the chance to show universities his determination for a course, but also provide him with a stronger understanding of what he plans to do post A-Level.
Jamie has travelled independently from Kent and is staying locally. With determination such as this, he should have a great career ahead of him.”
