Booth King is delighted to announce their involvement in the Premier Inn project at Dundee Discovery Quay.
An application for planning approval was submitted last week for the redevelopment to the Premier Inn located at Discovery Quay, Dundee. The scheme, designed by LMA Architects, sees the refurbishment of the existing 40 bed hotel and the creation of 109 new bedrooms and a new Beefeater restaurant.
Located on the quayside of the River Tay, the four storey hotel will sit next to the new V&A museum, the Discovery Visitor Centre and the soon to be refurbished Dundee railway station.
Works are anticipated to begin later this year with the existing hotel remaining open throughout the construction period. Completion of the hotel is expected to coincide with the opening of the Victoria and Albert Museum in 2018.
