Booth King was delighted to sponsor the Young Designer of the year award at the recent Construction Development Alliance (CDA) awards.
The winner of the coveted award was Pearl Cavaney. Pearl, enrolled on the A Level Product Design program after leaving school in 2014 and produced an exceptional design portfolio with some excellent design ideas.
Her ability to analyse questions and research extensively benefits her course of study. Pearl continues to show dedication and commitment to her future which will hopefully see her gain excellent grades and take up her place at Nottingham Trent University for furniture design.
Managing director at Booth King Mark Moppett presented Pearl with her award at the annual event held at the Burnley Mechanics Theatre. The event was hosted by Cowboy Builders presenter Dominc Littlewood.
Mark commented: “At Booth King we are dedicated supporters of young talent. We run our own highly successful apprenticeship scheme and understand how important it is to ensure young people are given the help, support and encouragement to join the construction industry.”
