Booth King – structural and civil engineers – is expanding it’s Edinburgh office as Chris Munt joins the team as a technician.
The company – who also has offices in Manchester and Lancashire – opened an Edinburgh office in 2015 located on Warrender Park Road within the city centre and services projects across Scotland.
Director Barry Jefcoate commented: “Over the past 18 months the Scottish office has grown from strength to strength. Initially opened to show our commitment to the region in early 2015, we have continued to work with existing clients and have secured new ones across Scotland.”
Projects include the new Premier Inn in Dundee, part of the £1 billion Waterfront redevelopment and part of the UK wide expansion programme for which Booth King are employed as structural engineers; Costa Coffee retail units; and work on many commercial and domestic properties across the region.
Chris – who originally joined Booth King as an apprentice in 2004 will work alongside associate Alan Isherwood. He commented: “I am extremely excited to be part of Booth King and its continued success. Edinburgh is a fantastic city with many amazing developments of which I am proud to be a part.”
