Alan to Cycle from Ramsbottom to Edinburgh

Associate and head of our Edinburgh office Alan Isherwood will be taking on a huge challenge on Saturday the 24th June.

He will be cycling 213 miles from our head office in Ramsbottom to Edinburgh for the Stroke Association in memory of our much loved colleague Andrew Boardman who died from a stroke last July aged 46.

Alan will be cycling 213 miles in memory of Andrew who was a senior technician at Booth King for 10 years.

He died suddenly on Sunday, 31st July aged 46 after suffering a stroke. A keen sportsman, and runner with Blackburn Road Runners Club he had competed in nine marathons and at the time of his death had been training for an Ironman.

The Stroke Association is the UK’s leading stroke charity changing the world for people affected by stroke.

More people than ever are benefitting from cutting-edge treatments and making full recoveries. The Stroke Association has been at the heart of every one of these developments, championing the cause of stroke and stroke survivors.
