This weekend Booth King members gave up thier time to support a number of community events as marshalls.

Barry and Helen were enthusisatic, if damp on Sunday morning as volunteer marshalls for the Bury Running Festival. They cheered on those hardy enough to do the 10K on a very wet sunday morning and handed out well deserved goody bags to those who took part.

On Saturday evening Elizabeth was a volunteer marshall for the Ulverston Lantern Festival, an annual event drawing thousands of people to the cumbrian town. This year there were an estimated 10,000 spectators and 800 lanterns, with some truely wonderful creations on the 2024 Story Time theme.
