We are always delighted to welcome students to our offices on work experience and give them a taste of what it is to be a structural engineer. We usually set them research on bridges and running stresses and tolerance calculations, give them a taste of AutoCAD, a practical element building a bridge that will take a 2kg weight, and a site visit if possible.

This year we have been very busy with students in all our offices, undertaking the above.

The most exciting part for everyone involved undoubtedly is the test of their bridge creations – all our students passed the 2kg test and beyond!
