Project details
This £60 million project provides Manchester Business School with significant new facilities to service its growing student population, as well as the increasingly popular leadership and management programs it delivers for companies such as Tesco, BAE and BT. The scheme provides new teaching and administrative homes for the school’s MBA programme and the Executive Education offering.
The project involved the extensive structural modification and extension of the original 1960s reinforced concrete framed building, with additions for new retail units, triple height learning space and lecture theatres. Existing structural cores were replaced to provide more spacious circulation and new lifts.
