Yoko Ono Lennon Centre
Project details
The University of Liverpool’s Yoko Ono Lennon Centre opened in 2021. It houses the 400-seat Tung Auditorium with space for a 70-piece orchestra, as well as the state-of-the-art 600-seat Paul Brett Lecture Theatre, offering students a world-class teaching experience.
It is also the new home of the music department’s popular Lunchtime Concert Series and hosts a programme of new public-facing cultural highlights including concerts and lectures as well as other events in the University calendar, including the annual Lit Fest and Open House series.
The new purpose-built teaching and performance building is situated on the south-east edge of the existing campus, making it easily accessible and providing both a new gateway to the university and a landmark to the city.
